Is Google in Trouble & Facing Bankruptcy?
[NEW YORK - Wednesday] - by Devon Melk. Rumors are now running amok that the 2nd most powerful website on the entire Worldwide-Web may file BANKRUPTCY, with the deadline set for this December; being the date of both discharge and dissolution in a Federal Court of Law.
This would come as a SHOCK to investors and “Googlers” alike who both profit and benefit from the use of the World’s largest and most powerful search engine which receives far in excess of 100 MILLION unique daily visitors and well over 300 million individual searches daily - making it perhaps the single most valuable public data resource as an “information bank” online the world over.

But is the rumor true or false?

The origin of the rumor occurred when some savvy Internet marketers began making statements that they had heard “insiders’ talk” that the company (now publicly traded since April 30, 2004, just over 3 years ago) may face financial disaster with the release of a “new system” that would allow advertisers to get their otherwise pay-per-click (PPC) advertising completely free.

This, of course, would naturally lead directly (like a domino- effect) to the collapse of Google’s sibling program AdSense; as its only revenue comes from the direct sales of AdWords “clicks.”

The “new system” in question and responsible for the controversy over getting AdWords pay-per-clicks free is that developed by Dr Jon Cohen of New York City, New York (now retired) who discovered a simple, yet effective means, for getting Google PPC ads without having to suffer the costs involved.

The retired New York doctor and native has a publicly disclosed net worth now in excess of $7O million [US], having generated well over $377 million in product sales from sixteen (16) separate online businesses within just nine (9) years since first venturing online in 1998 (about the same time as Google was founded).

It is estimated by company insiders and leading financial analysts that the “good doctor” (as he’s called by “all who know him”) has purportedly saved well over $93 million (some estimates suggest closer to $136 million) in otherwise paid advertising at Google and the other major players in the PPC targeted-search arena online - including Yahoo, MSN, AskJeeves, AllTheWeb.com, HotBot, AltaVista, Lycos and Netscape, just to name a few.

The “secret” became available to the general masses last April, and its very release caused such a major sweeping stir among the community of Internet-marketers, affiliate-marketers, webmasters, ecommerce company owners and surfers alike that the site quickly rose to break the top most visited 1,000 websites on the entire planet briefly; and as can be seen here:

http://tinyurl.com/39lnjn (Alexa data on this!)

When asked if the “secret” would somehow ruin Google, Dr Cohen revealed almost cryptically that it actually would bring about just the opposite effect, and “stimulate” even more business volume for the virtual giant.

Many people were dismayed to find that Google itself is deliberately allowing the purchase of 100,000’s of PPC ads offering the secret system to the general public — which indicates to most observers that either they [Google] haven’t caught it, or they simply feel that it somehow is not a threat to their continued operation.

For anyone’s inspection factual and hard evidence supporting this can be seen by simply looking to the right-hand column when doing a search for “get google ads free” (specifically in quotation marks) at Google.com under the “Sponsored Links” section.

Or take this direct and instant SHORTCUT:

http://tinyurl.com/2ctu6j

You can also see nearly 100,000 specific results in the “organic” fields index located in the center and which occupies the bulk of the results pages.

One would think that if Google felt threatened by such a release as this earth-shaking “secret” is, they would hardly allow for either paid-ads or organic content to make the top searches regarding it.

However, evidence supports to the contrary - and this being the case now for a full six (6) months.

Mysteriously, within just two (2) hours of its initial release last April, Google itself actually did in fact ‘pause’ the parent firm’s attempts at advertising the new system using PPCs on their search engine - only, however, to release the hold after a Review Team consisting of some of Google’s top executives completed performing an in-depth investigation and made the determination to ALLOW the ads to run.

The secret system was recently revised however to include “major new content” and “more exhaustive instructions,” and is now available at its Home Site:

http://myway50.freegoogle.hop.clickbank.net

The most important addition is that of a so-called “string of code” (tech-talk for some HTML) that can be added to any webpage(s) that instantly causes the elimination of the page owner’s AdWords costs right away.

Even a “live” woman spokes-representative (”Rachel”) has been added to the site, and who appears to literally walk out onto the webpage and talk to visitors and explain a bit more how the mysterious new breakthrough system works.

Since the addition of this new “live” spokes-woman has now appeared at the site, company Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Mr Todd Coutrin states that “sales for the system have skyrocketed above 2,430% suddenly and with no limit in sight.”

Coutrin continues: “With the newest revision now in place, plus all the additions added, affiliates for the new system can expect to earn even more than ever before!” (Note: Affiliates make up the bulk of the firm’s sales generation.)

The refund rate for the new revised version of the secret (named V5.1) has dropped to less than half of what it was before the newer version’s release; meaning it’s now even more readily-received and put to use than ever before (perhaps in large part to the newer simplicity of application) - now making it the safest and one of the best resellers for the networks of affiliate marketers who earn their revenues from the reselling of other electronic publishers’ stock and digital product lines.

When asked, Google company representatives stated matter-of-factly that the rumors of bankruptcy for the ecommerce giant are simply not true, and that the rumor millings are in fact simply the result of “panics” brought on by the usual hysteria associated with anything large, new or revolutionary - or in this case, all three.

Attempts to contact both Sergey Brin and Larry Page, the former Stanford University students who founded Google in 1998, to request comment were unsuccessful.

Again, Google itself seems to be the biggest supporter of the “new system” as it’s allowing more and more advertisers to promote the new system on its search engine before over 100 million daily searches and surfers.

We all have bad dreams but what are the causes of bad dreams in the first place?

Were you aware that about 5% of us regularly experience a nightmare? Nightmares are like other dreams except they involve higher levels of danger and fear. It is the lacking of control feeling in these dreams which are the causes of bad dreams being upsetting.

Nightmares, and all dreams, occur during the REM, or Rapid Eye Movement, state. During a nightmare a person can display sweating, a higher pulse rate and in fact many of the physical symptoms that would be apparent if they were in a real life fearful event.

There are quite a few theories about dreams and the triggers for specific kinds but we do not understand for sure what the causes of bad dreams are.

A popular view of dreaming suggests that the causes of bad dreams lie in the need to release stresses from the day. Sigmund Freud held the view that repressed or suppressed fears were the causes of bad dreams and they could be stopped through psychotherapy.

Vidid memories of a traumatic events are sometimes the causes of bad dreams that are connected to that event.

Another thing that is often a part of the causes of bad dreams is illness. While the body attempts to repair itself and fight the infection or disease nightmares become more common. This can often be exaggerated by medication. The causes of bad dreams can be directly linked to the medicine making the nightmares occur more frequently.

It is unknown what exactly the causes of bad dreams are or why they are so vivid. It is possible that we merely remember our bad dreams more easily because they frighten us.

Research shows that emotionally sensitive people are more prone to nightmares than others. It is no known what exactly what the causes of bad dreams for these people are but the fact that they are more likely to get upset by things may be a key.

Constantly harbouring negative thoughts and feelings is often one of the key causes of bad dreams becoming more frequent. In order to process the negativity the mindenact fears and apprehensions associated with the conscious negative thoughts while sleeping and thus they are the causes of bad dreams.

To deal effectively with bad dreams and remove whatever the causes of bad dreams are you can do several things. Firstly try to avoid watching the news or reading newspapers before bed. Avoid anything that you may find upsetting - including violent or scary movies as these are often the causes of bad dreams.

The best way for stopping bad dreams is by learning to lucid dream. Whatever the causes of bad dreams your dream world can be eliminated in a lucid state. You can control every aspect of any dream -even a nightmare!

Read or watch something inspiring. You can also visualize a tranquil scene or imagine yourself doing something you enjoy. Whatever you’re thinking just prior to sleep can have a huge impact on your dreams. Thinking negative thoughts while you fall asleep are often causes of bad dreams!

Why should we learn another language? Today when the whole world is becoming English-speaking, I don’t see any reasons for learning languages other than English. We can go anywhere in the world and communicate in English with the locals, but knowing foreign languages will take people a step forward in global communication, and it will open more opportunities in their lives. Imagine if you meet your soul mate, and you can’t understand each other because of the language barrier. Therefore, speaking more than one language is a great advantage.

First, speaking foreign languages is a great advantage in the work field. Knowing a foreign language may increase your chances of finding a new job, especially in the tourism and hospitality field. For example, speaking Spanish is a big advantage when looking for a job of any type in Florida. When you start working, you have better opportunities to grow and to get a promotion or to get transfer overseas or to go on foreign business trips if you speak other languages. Who is going to be sent to negotiate in Mexico? Logically, a Spanish speaking person will be sent. Many English-speaking business people don’t bother to learn other languages because they believe that most of the people they do business with can speak English, but the locals will probably feel more comfortable using their own language rather than English. Even learning a couple of words and being able to say, “Hello. How are you?” will mean a lot to a potential business partner. That means that you are interested in their culture, not just in the money and profits.

Furthermore, if you want to move to a different country, speaking the local language will help you to communicate and integrate with the local community. English is spoken everywhere, for instance, if you move to my country, Macedonia you can speak English and normally communicate with the locals. If you move to Holland, which is next to England, 90% of the people speak English, it’s still worth it to speak the local language, or even show initiative to learn the local language, because that will demonstrate your interest in and commitment to the new country. When you move to a foreign country, you will face different customs and way of living. In order to better understand the culture and way of thinking, it’s very helpful to speak the local language. If you speak or even try to, you will be able to win over sympathies from the locals. That means you show respect to them, for their culture and country, so when you win sympathies that will help you to talk and integrate with the local community faster and easier.

In addition, if you speak more than one language it is easier to travel, meet people, and make friends. I have traveled to many places in the world. I have visited at least 20 countries in Europe, Asia, and America. One thing I learned is that, the more languages you speak, the better it is. I speak four Slavic languages, so whenever I travel somewhere, I meet people from Slavic speaking countries. Even though we speak English after we say a couple of words in Slavic to each other, the fact that I speak or even understand their languages makes me their friend. Knowing even a few phrases of the language will make a huge difference. You will meet many more people and find it much easier to get around when you travel. People are much more receptive if you make an effort to speak their language. This can turn a frustrating experience into the trip of a lifetime. For instance, I know a few phrases in Spanish, so whenever I meet Spanish speaking people, I start saying words in Spanish. Their reaction is always positive because I put an effort to learn and to understand some words and parts of their culture.

Language is what makes us human. It is the medium we use to share our thoughts with the world. Could you imagine thought without language? The world would be a very complicated place for people to understand each other; therefore, learning another language is like discovering another world. One thing is sure, the more languages we speak the better we understand the world and the other cultures.

The Nintendo Wii is unique and is offering console game players a new era. Its small, powerful, easy to use and is getting people to exercise by getting them to get out of their seats to move and physically interact with the games.

You can be 100% Involved in the Game!

So far, current games make great use of new proven unique motion-sensitive controllers. One of the first games for Nintendo Wii was Wii Sports. Simple sports games which can allow any one of any age, pick up the controllers and play. Grandpa’s and Grandma’s can now be part of the young children’s computer powered world.

In Wii Sports, the controllers are used like a tennis racket, a golf club, a bowling ball launcher, and even boxing gloves. This game is fantastic fun for all ages and ages got people of the couch and moving. This is great for young children, getting them active.

Nintendo Wii has also proved to be a hit with popular first-person shooting games. Because the controller can be pointed directly at the screen and used as a gun, and is almost as real as you can get. You no longer have to think which button controls what; you simply point and shoot.

Also the driving games for Nintendo Wii have been a hit. The Wii controller can be used as a steering wheel to control your car, making it a powerful way to stay on the road in the games.

Other games for Nintendo Wii require you to turn the controller horizontally to use in a fashion similar to the older, classic game controllers. Even this action is well suited to the Wii remote and feels natural.

Some games use special input devices, to allow more interactivity. Some music-based games, use input devices that are specific to that game like a guitar, microphone, or drum set made especially for Wii games can be used to interact with your game in a never before seen way.

There will, no doubt, be many new games for Nintendo Wii. The have broken new ground, with outside the box thinking. The new ideas and great controllers and interaction will be winner for kids and for parents who want to get the kids active. Well done!

Solid state is an electrical term that refers to electronic circuitry that is built entirely out of semiconductors. The term was originally used to define those electronics such as a transistor radio that used semiconductors rather than vacuum tubes in its construction. Most all electronics that we have today are built around semiconductors and chips. In terms of a SSD, it refers to the fact that the primary storage medium is through semiconductors rather than a magnetic media such as a hard drive.

SSDs, or solid state drives, are becoming more and more popular in notebook computers. They are perfectly suited for ultraportable laptops because they consume less power than in spinning mechanical conventional hard disk drives. The thin Apple Air or Lenovo Thinkpad notebooks, amongst others, feature this solid state storage technology.

How Do They Work?

Traditional hard drives have a spinning platter with a head that reads data from the platter. Remember all those hard drive crashes? This was primarily due to the vulnerability of the head being jarred by dropping or bumping into the computer and crashing into the platter causing mechanical and or read/write errors. SSDs have no moving parts. Instead they have Nand flash chips and a controller. They are simply flash drives on a large scale. SSDs are attractive when considering speed, noise, power consumption, and reliability. They consume approximately half the power of traditional hard drives of the same size. For example a 2.5 inch Samsung SSD consumes less than 1 watt of power when active, as compared with 2.1 watts that a standard 2.5 inch HDD consumes.

Increased Performance?

SSDs are noted for faster startups and shutdowns. They also have improved performance when applications are launched. Traditional hard drives get fragmented and slower over time unlike SSDs. Because of this non fragmentation SSDs have a real time improvement with random reads. Performance remains constant throughout the entire drive even when it starts to fill up.

Battery Life?

Many components in a notebook computer effect battery life. LCD Screens in particular do. The savings are about 10% prolonged battery life for An SSD vs a traditional hard drive. For most, an SSD upgrade is not worth it for this feature alone. However when taken into account the other benefits of SSDs including: faster performance, less noise, less heat, lighter weight, no fragmentation, and a longer life expectancy an extra $1000 upgrade may well be worth it.

Which notebook brands have SSD options?

Apple, Lenovo, Samsung, Alienware, Dell, Asus, Sony, Motion Computer, and HP are amongst the brands offering SSDs now. SSDs are available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256 GB models.

The future for SSDs

At a component level, manufacturers have been doubling the density every 10 years for these types of notebook drives. This makes for larger storage capacity at smaller sizes. Price varies per manufacturers. A 64GB SSD which costs about $900 now is expected to cost $450 in 2009 and $200 in 2010. Both SSDs and traditional hard drives will probably coexist for a while to come. Because SSDs do offer added value and benefits in several ways they are expected to grow to be in nearly 40% of the notebook laptops by 2011.
